TIMBER shines with special material characteristics :
- High stability
- Relatively low weight – therefore easy to transport
- Easy handling and assembly
- Ideal combination with other construction materials
- Natural heat insulation
- Lean timber constructions create more interior space (at the same ground area 10% more usefull area is available in a timber building)
- Dry construction method allows immediate interior work
- Short assembly time results in minimized costs
- Construction method allows unproblematic placement of optimized insulation layers
- Low-maintenance
|

Regarding health TIMBER is on the cutting edge :
- Timber guarantees naturally for a comfortable interior climate and optimal air moisture
- Free of harmful substances
- No chemical preservation necessary (dry assembly or resistant timber species assumed - or constructional instruments as sufficient roof overhang)
- Also for exterior use no necessity of surface treatment – facade finished is only an issue of design
|

Also ecological and safety issues are pretty impressive :
- Renewable resource
- Sustainable forestry without long routes of transport
- Timber exclusively needs solar energy to grow
- environmentally unfriendly carbon dioxide is stored
