What is solid structural timber (KVH®)
Solid structural timber (KVH®) is state-of-the-art trimmed building timber made from coniferous wood used for applications in modern timber construction. Solid structural timber is largely used in timber frame house construction for building walls, ceilings and roofs.
We produce solid structural timber (KVH®) for visible and non-visible areas, manufactured according to sorting criteria and characteristics for solid structural timber in accordance with DIN 4074-1/S10, DIN EN 14081-1.
We have joined the Monitoring Association for Solid Structural Timber (KVH®) from German Production in order to allow the inspection of compliance with the special requirements through voluntary external monitoring. In addition, we are externally monitored by the Stuttgart Research and Materials Testing Institute (MPA) for the solid structural timber product among others.
